Ray Waterhouse congratulates Doug Argue on his current group exhibition on view at the Nassau County Museum of Art, Nassau, New York.
Organized in conjunction with the Brookhaven National Laboratory and the Tesla Museum, this ground-breaking show features high level science exhibits alongside works by leading Modern, Post-War and Contemporary artists. Some of the artists included in the exhibit include Jackson Pollock, Alexander Calder, Jasper Johns, James Rosenquist, Julie Mehretu, Frank Stella, Joseph Cornell and Man Ray.
This innovative project juxtaposes masterworks in many media with images produced by the most advanced scientific instruments fused into one dynamic and interactive exhibition - there is even an active “cloud chamber” for visitors to explore the “invisible” world of energy.
