Ray Waterhouse showed at Spring Masters under a previous gallery name with a selection of works that span Impressionism, Post-Impressionism, European and American Modernism and European Abstraction. Highlights included a complex cubist still life by Auguste Herbin, two vivid, harmonic gouaches by Alexander Calder, two energetic, abstract paintings by Hans Hofmann, a sun-drenched harbor scene by British Impressionist Wilfrid de Glehn, and a selection of abstract geometric compositions by Georges Folmer.
