Carolina Sardi at the Museum of Latin American Art

HERland: Women Artists in the MOLAA Collection, February 7, 2021 - January 2, 2022

Ray Waterhouse congratulates our gallery artist Carolina Sardi on her inclusion in the museum's collection of art and her participation in the exhibition HERland: Women Artists in the Museum of Latin American Art Collection, on view February 7, 2021 - January 2, 2022 in Long Beach, California.

Curated by by Gabriela Urtiaga, MOLAA Chief Curator, this exhibition explores the feminine search through art as a constant and current interpellation where questions can be glimpsed in each portrait, scene, object, strangeness, generated by the dialogue with the surreal inventory in the modern and contemporary scene. The Herland exhibition is a poetic map full of beauty but also of persistence and self confidence. A journey that enables us to connect with the matrix of female creation with outstanding artists of our time.

Showing alongside other significant artists such as Leonora Carrington, Doris Salcedo, Liliana Porter and Tania Bruguera, Carolina Sardi joins the ranks of some of the most notable female artistic voices of the 20th and 21st century in this noteworthy collection.
